Joey Barreiro

JOEY BARREIRO is a writer, composer, and actor from Miami Florida. An alum of the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing program, he administrates with all the stoic solemnity required of a serious person with a serious degree that one day his mother will take seriously.

He made a career of playing Italian or Irish boys (and one man who starts as a boy) by leveraging a convincing New York accent he picked up from various Puerto Ricans. When that gravy train crashed into an NYU-shaped *dream*, he shoveled gravy into his pockets and began writing musicals.
