Allison Robbins is an Adjunct Professor of screen and television writing at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, has published numerous articles in The New York Times, New York Magazine and Daily Variety and received a Georgy Award and several Dramalogue Awards for playwrighting. She has co-written the book for the musical, Séance, which was produced at The Other Palace in London, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s incubator theater for new musicals. She won numerous awards for Moshulu Parkway, a short film she wrote and directed. She has also worked as a television writer-producer for CBS, NBC, ABC, and Fox as well as numerous cable outlets. Allison currently resides in Brooklyn with her husband.
