Jack Serio

Jack Serio is a New York-based theatre director. He recently directed the critically acclaimed production of Uncle Vanya staged in a Flatiron loft. The production earned 3 Drama Desk nominations and for it, he was named a "New King of Culture" in Town & Country Magazine. More recently, he directed the U.S. premiere of The Animal Kingdom at The Connelly Theater Upstairs and the return engagement of On Set With Theda Bara at The Brick. He also directed the celebrated U.S. premiere of This Beautiful Future at The Cherry Lane Theater, a NY Times Critic's Pick. This winter he will direct the world premiere of Samuel D. Hunter's Grangeville at Signature Theatre. His work has been seen at Playwrights Horizons, Ars Nova, Clubbed Thumb, 59e59, Cherry Lane, Theaterlab, The Brick, Theater for the New City, and The Pearl Theater Company.
