Carter Harris

Carter Harris is an American screenwriter, producer and director. He has penned screenplays for director Michael Mann and André “3000” Benjamin; developed long and short content for HBO, Imagine Entertainment, Amazon, MGM, Snapchat, and Quibi; and written & produced for numerous TV series, including Dick Wolf's Law & Order, FX's Lights Out, NBC's Friday Night Lights, Netflix’s Bloodline, HBO’s Ballers, and Apple TV's The New Look. Harris began his career as a journalist, writing for publications such as Esquire, The New York Times, New York Magazine, Details, Spin, Rolling Stone, The Source, Elle, and San Francisco Bay Guardian. He also served as senior editor and executive editor of Vibe magazine. He is a former Fellow in the National Arts Journalism Program at Columbia University.
