Three Tisch Students won medals at the 2017 Student Academy Awards on Thursday night at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in the Academy’s Beverly Hills headquarters.
Kevin Wilson, Jr. (MFA, ’18) won gold in the narrative category for “My Nephew Emmett”; Max R. A. Fedore (BFA, ’17) won gold in the alternative category for “Opera of Cruelty”; AND Marie Dvorakova (MFA, ’16) won bronze in the narrative category for “Who’s Who in Mycology.”
The films are now eligible for entry into next year's Academy Awards competition!
