New works by Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program alums were selected for the National Alliance for Musical Theatre's 38th annual Festival of New Musicals.
BLACK GIRL IN PARIS, with book and lyrics by AriDy Nox and music by Jacinth Greywoode (both Cycle 27), tells the story of Sally Hemmings in Paris and the start of her relationship with Thomas Jefferson.
SUNWATCHER, with music by Tidtaya Sinutoke (Cycle 22), follows brilliant Japanese astronomer and housewife Hisako Koyama's drive to advance science by observing the sun.
