Zach most recently wrote the original science fiction tentpole film “THE TOMORROW WAR” for Skydance Entertainment that was released worldwide by Amazon Studios. The film stars Chris Pratt and was directed by Chris McKay.

Recently, Zach sold his original sci-fi film “CANARY” preemptively to Imagine Entertainment for Ron Howard to direct. He wrote "Starblazers" for Chris McQuarrie to direct at Skydance.

He has his original World War II film "ATLANTIC WALL" with Bradley Cooper attached to star at Imperative and has the Bill Graham story with Shawn Levy directing for Fox.

Previously, Zach wrote “METHUSELAH” for Warner Bros. with David Heyman producing, that now has Danny Boyle to direct and Michael B. Jordan to star. Additionally, Zach has “THE LIGHTKEEPER” set up at Working Title Films with Stephen Gaghan attached to direct, and "LAYOVER" set up at Endgame with Thunder Road producing.

Zach’s feature “DEADFALL” premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival that Mark Cuban and Todd Wagner financed. Variety stated: "Deadfall is alive in ways that are all too rare among American movies."The film was directed by Stefan Ruzowitzky (Academy Award Winner for "The Counterfeiters") and starred Eric Bana, Charlie Hunnam, Olivia Wilde, Sissy Spacek, Kris Kristofferson, and Kate Mara.
