DDW Chair's Discussion Series - Writing Trans Lives, An Introduction

Please join DDW Chair, Joe Vinciguerra, in welcoming Jae Weit, an artist and advocate for trans artists in entertainment, for our upcoming Chair's Discussion Series. Jae will lead a training on trans representation in theater, film and television.

The discussion, moderated by faculty member MJ Kaufman, will also cover history, pitfalls, triumphs, stereotypes, contemporary trends and the current climate for trans writers and stories, as well as best practices for cis writers looking to write trans characters.

This session will be held In honor of Trans Day of Visibility and Women's History Month.
