Chair's Discussion Series: How TV Shapes Reality

Chair's Discussion

Please join us on Thursday, April 27th at 12:30 pm, for a discussion with award-winning producer/director/NYU alumnus, Fenton Bailey, as we chat about his new book, "ScreenAge: How TV Shaped Our Reality From Tammy Faye to RuPaul's Drag Race."

"In embracing freaks or those who have fallen from grace, Bailey’s career has a deep moral seriousness and celebrates every kind of difference, queer and otherwise." Suzanne Moore, The Daily Telegraph

The discussion, moderated by TV Area Head, Robin Epstein, will also cover the formation of Fenton's production company, World of Wonder, with his NYU classmate, Randy Barbato, pioneering reality television and his documentary, The Show Business of Crime and Punishment, films Party Monster and The Eyes of Tammy Faye, as well as the making of Drag Race.
