Taylor Crawford
Kitt
Logline: KITT chronicles the life and Hollywood career of Eartha Kitt, an unapologetic Black sex symbol in the politically and socially torn 20th century.
Bio: Taylor Crawford is a Memphis born screenwriter, producer, essayist, and film academic. Although her writing runs the dramatic gamut, she tends to write about women who confidently blow up their own worlds and Blackness. Her stories often blend both. Armed with an MFA from NYU Tisch and a BFA from USC School of Cinematic Arts, Taylor hopes to create TV shows that offer Black characters fictionalized realities they haven’t had the chance to explore. The only thing she loves more than being a writer is being southern.
