The Green Land

Logline: The Green Land is a half-hour workplace comedy set in a struggling Botanical Garden, where uncompromising botanist Fayga fights an authoritarian Mayor hell-bent on turning the place into a theme park. For that, she’ll have the help of a ragtag team—sex-addict PR whiz Michelangelo, perpetually pregnant director Sheila, anxious volunteer Icarus, and free-spirited hippie Black Sun.

Bio: Luiza Neves Yabrudi holds an MFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU, where she specialized in TV and screen. In Brazil, she wrote for a variety of productions, including the feature comedy Two’s a Crowd (Universal Pictures 2024, set at Universal Orlando) and the 40-episode MAX series Scars of Beauty (2025). Prior to that, she spent nine years as a writer-producer at Globo—Latin America’s largest broadcast network—penning comedies such as Slaps & Kisses, starring Fernanda Torres (Golden Globe winner, 2025), and the sketch show Zorra, nominated for an International Emmy (2016).
