This year marks the school's 33rd anniversary celebrating its extraordinary community at the Sundance Film Festival. We are thrilled for the 135* Tisch alumni, former students, current students, and faculty who worked on 36% of projects in the 2026 Sundance Film Festival!

In this year’s Festival…

  • 8/10 films in the US Dramatic Competition are written, directed, or produced by alumni
  • 4/10 films in the US Documentary Competition are written, directed, or produced by alumni
  • 1/10 films in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition is written, directed, and produced by alumni
  • 41% of features and episodic projects have a Tisch affiliation
  • 14% of short films have a Tisch affiliation
