Diane Hodson is an award-winning nonfiction storyteller working across audio, television, and film. Her work in podcasting includes Think Twice: Michael Jackson (2023), the dupont-Columbia winner The Line (2021), Peabody-nominated Running from COPS (2019), Missing Richard Simmons (2017), and Heaven's Gate (2017). She is currently story editing a limited series with Pineapple Street Studios and a returning narrative series with Crooked Media, both due out in late 2023. In addition, she has worked on the Emmy-nominated television adaptation of The Line (2021) for Apple+, and Heaven’s Gate: The Cult of Cults (2020) for HBOMax.

Her documentary films have screened and won numerous awards at premier festivals across the globe, including SXSW. In 2019, she received the Full Frame Garrett Scott Development Grant for her upcoming feature, which is awarded to "singular new voices in nonfiction film." Her films have received funding and support from the IFP Documentary Lab, New York State Council for the Arts, Graham Foundation for the Advanced Studies of the Fine Arts, and the NYC Women’s Fund for Media, Music and Theatre.
