Alicea Romero

Alicea Romero holds a BS in Sociology with a double minor in Communication and Psychology from Northern Arizona University and an MA in Higher Education Student Affairs. Originally from Arizona, she began working with students in college as a manager for her university’s scholarship fundraising team, which sparked her passion for student support and gradually led her into academic advising. She has since worked with students across various disciplines, helping them navigate their academic and career journeys.

As a dancer, Alicea is a strong advocate for the arts and loves working with creative and passionate students. She believes that academic advising can empower students to take ownership of their education and explore unique paths in their fields. In her spare time, she enjoys Broadway musicals, discovering new food spots in the city, and watching (or rewatching) a good show.
