Traci Balmos

Traci Balmos serves as the Senior Director of Human Resources at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she operates at the intersection of performance management, workforce development, and organizational design. With over 25 years of experience, she is deeply committed to creating happiness in the workplace and fostering environments where people and organizations thrive.

Before beginning her HR career at NYU, Traci built a strong professional foundation in the fashion and real estate industries. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in public relations from Texas Tech University, a human resources certification from Cornell University, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Human Capital Analytics and Technology at the NYU School of Professional Studies.

Outside of work, Traci is a devoted patron of the arts — equally at home in a Broadway theater as in a dance studio. She is also an avid fan of football and basketball, and rarely misses an opportunity to cheer on her favorite teams.
