Thatcher Tamisiea

Thatcher has been part of Tisch HR since 2021. He began as an HR Assistant, later served as an HR Administrator, and now works as the HR Generalist. Before joining NYU, Thatcher had a long career in theatre and a brief one in healthcare. After earning his B.A. in Economics from Boston College, he naturally pursued his passion for acting, performing professionally for nearly 20 years in numerous stage productions, as well as in television, film, and commercials. He also completed the two-year conservatory program at the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School in New York City.

Thatcher eventually transitioned into administrative work, managing the Creative Center studios at Manhattan Theatre Club. Seeking a new challenge, he went on to manage the Liver Transplant Office at Mount Sinai for just over two years. He later returned to the performing arts, working at off-Broadway’s Signature Theatre Company before joining Tisch.

Thatcher divides his time between New York City and Bucks County, PA. He is passionate about horseback riding, swimming, cooking, and traveling. He still attends the theatre as often as possible.
