John Kim-Forry

John is the Assistant Director of Information Technology at NYU Tisch, where he leverages his 15+ years of experience in the IT industry to provide strategic leadership in endpoint management and software solutions. He oversees the implementation and management of a wide range of technologies, ensuring that the Tisch community has secure, reliable, and user-friendly devices and software to support their academic and creative work.

With a strong focus on security and seamless user experiences, John’s approach integrates innovative solutions that empower students, faculty, and staff to work efficiently and effectively. He is passionate about staying ahead of technology trends and continuously improving IT workflows to meet the evolving needs of the institution.

Outside of work, John is a proud resident of Queens, New York. He enjoys exploring the dynamic culture of New York City, from visiting art and history museums to trying new culinary experiences.
