Philip Derise
Adjunct Instructor
Philip DeRise is a filmmaker and educator trained within the MFA in film production from NYU Tisch School of the Arts international campus in Singapore. Philip's credits include documentary and commercial directing work for Vox Media, Group Nine Media, Grey Advertising, Audible, Horizon Media, Doctors of the World, the United Nations, Meridian Content (now Washington Square Films,) NowThis, Thrillist, The Dodo and others. These films have run broadcast, been screened at prominent film festivals, and been recognized by AdCritic's best of the week of advertising. Feature film and TV credits include production work on "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", "Law and Order, Criminal Intent," "13 Going on 30," "My Blueberry Nights," "The Interpreter", "Mona Lisa Smile," and "Unfaithful." Education work includes filmmaking instruction, masterclass direction, and course development at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
