Logline: A mysterious girl returns to her late father's hometown in the Deep South and begins working as a stablehand for a family grieving a tragic loss of its own. As she slowly becomes entangled in the personal lives of her employers, she is forced to choose between her newfound family and a longstanding vow for revenge. 

Bio: Zoe is a filmmaker from Houston, Texas. She received both her BFA and MFA in Screenwriting from the Department of Dramatic Writing at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Her screenplays have been recognized by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, Women & Hollywood, and the Athena Film Festival, and she is a recipient of the Venable Herndon Award for Excellence in Screenwriting. Her first short film, THE FOURTH FRIEND, was an Official Selection at FEST - New Directors New Films where it competed for the Silver Lynx Prize in Fiction before being acquired by Film Shortage, where it is now available to stream. Her latest short film, AT NIGHT, premiered at the Academy Award-Qualifying Urbanworld Film Festival, and is still enjoying its festival run. Her next short film, COYOTES, is in post-production. Zoe is currently developing her debut feature for 2026.
