Logline: In a world where magic has been banished and mythical creatures like elves have been subjugated by violent human rule, a coup led by a scorned son of the King sends a sheltered princess beyond the safety of the castle walls to make a deal with an ancient Goddess to give her the power to save her kingdom BUT with a catch… if she is to fail, upon her death she will be resurrected to try again and again until she succeeds with no promise of a happy ending or any ending at all.

Bio: Tia Vashistha is a screenwriter and songwriter who tells stories at the intersection of the personal and the fantastical. From fantasy action adventures to sci-fi mysteries, she finds the emotional core in even the most out-there worlds, offering escapism that resonates. A recent MFA graduate from NYU Tisch’s Dramatic Writing program and a Berklee College of Music alum, Tia draws from lived experience to explore societal issues through original worlds full of vivid characters and grounded drama. Whether writing for television, film, or composing lyrics, her work blends heart, humor, and imagination to ask what it truly means to be human.
