Natalia Shaufert
Bookend
Logline: BOOKEND is a four-season true story inspired by my mother’s life — a serialized narrative told in reverse, from the present back to her childhood.
A one-hour, single-camera dark comedy-drama set in a British-American Moldova. Think: redneck slang with a British accent.
A “somewhat” Made-up place.
Each episode doesn't ask “What happens next?”—but rather, “How the hell did we get here?”
Each season, Sonia runs a new business and adapts to a new decade of her life.
Season 1: A HOUSE THAT FEEDS HER
Season 2: THE BODEGA
Season 3: STREET HUSTLE
Season 4: BULLY BOYS
