Performance Studies scholars are teachers, artists, administrators, musicians, critics, writers and journalists, radio personalities, political activists, choreographers, curators, actors, scholars, teachers, theatre directors, and much, much more. This makes for an exceptionally rich community of thinkers, doers, and makers.
The Performance Studies Alumni Committee is dedicated to fostering mutually beneficial relationships between and among prospective students, currents students, and alumni of the Department of Performance Studies.
The Performance Studies Alumni Lecture Series invites alumni to share their work and wisdom with the Performance Studies community. This series seeks to continue building relationships between alumni, current students and faculty, foster professional networks, and help students think about the transition after graduation.
The Performance Studies Salon Series is a student-run initiative that invites current students, faculty and alumni to come together and share their skills in the field of Performance Studies. The salon series occurs throughout the academic year.
We invite alumni to attend our public lecture series events, annual José Esteban Muñoz Memorial Lecture, and conferences and symposiums open to the public.
