B.A. student Akeem Muhammad's play "Black Enough" will be performed for one night only in the NYU Black Box Theater, as part of "Plans Change x Black Enough."
"Plans Change" is an interactive performance exploring the journey and growth of blackness in the classical music space and the relationship between black queerness and spirituality. The performance immerses the audience into a world of careful design, showcasing accessible and meaningful music. Plans Change sheds the traditional recital format with "Black Enough," Akeem Muhammad’s short stage performance on race, gender, and leadership, to infuse acting, music, movement and technology into a modern artistic experience.
