Weekend on the Square 2019
Congratulations on your acceptance to the Tisch School of the Arts, Performance Studies Class of 2023!
The department invites you to attend Weekend on the Square, NYU's Admitted Students Day. This fun and informative signature event for admitted students takes place this year on April 13th and is packed with tours, discussions, and information sessions to prepare you for a successful four years at NYU.
Performance Studies will host an information session for admitted students and families on Saturday, April 13th, 11:45am - 1:30pm.
What happens during Weekend on the Square?
In short: Lots. Your day will include an academic information session with your dean, financial aid guidance, campus tour, residence hall open houses, and some interactive activities such as performers, a photo booth, and information on students groups.
Plan Your Day
Your day will start with a session here at the Department of Performance Studies. Meet André Lepecki, Chair, Barbara Browning, Director of Undergraduate Studies, and Laura Fortes, Assistant Director, who will engage students in an interactive workshop. In addition, you will meet current undergraduate students who are eager to share their own experiences with you and answer any questions you may have.
Throughout the day, we'll have activities happening around campus that you can explore on your own schedule.
