Lydia Brawner

Lydia serves on the editorial board of Women & Performance: a Journal of Feminist Theory.Awards include the Leigh George Odom Award for Outstanding Masters Student, the Patricia Dunn Lehrman Fellowship for Art in American Society and the Paulette Goddard Award.  As an artist, Lydia has performed in Marina Abramović’s retrospective The Artist is Present at MoMA and plays “Lydia” in enemyResearch, an ongoing performance collaboration with playwright Branden Jacobs-Jenkins.  She is an honorary member in absentia of Real Time and Space in Oakland, California.  Most recently, she has taught Radical Performance in New York: Contemporary and Archival Perspectives.
