Lydia Brawner

Lydia Brawner received her PhD and MA from NYU Performance Studies. She is currently the Maude and Rodney Starkey Deputy Director for Education at New York's Museum of Arts and Design, where she also served as the Associate Curator of Programs. Previous to MAD, she was the Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Curatorial Fellow at Performa. She has taught a variety of courses in Art History, Performance Studies, and every so often, Religious Studies at the San Francisco Art Institute and NYU.
