Mixed-­Media Theatre, Non­-Narrative Theatre, Contemporary Dance Studies, Aesthetics, Criticism, Curation, Spectatorship, Choreography, Interdisciplinary Arts Study Biography Heidi Dinkler is a New York­based choreographer, performer, and scholar. Although holding an undergraduate degree in music performance, Heidi has studied and explored choreography since 2006, working independently or under the guidance of artists including Rebecca Salzer. Heidi has been living and working in New York since 2013 and has performed in art galleries and experimental performance venues throughout the city. Her training in dance, instrumental music, vocal music and the visual arts gives her a rich pallet of tools from which to build her work. Often superseding traditional performance vocabularies, Heidi's choreography redefines performer and performance. Heidi’s research is centered on analyzing and understanding contemporary hybridized theatre.
