Pannaga Jois

Pannaga is a theatre artist and performance maker from India. Her work ranges from performances based on traditional Indian art forms to interdisciplinary and site-specific performances.

Why PS @ NYU?

As an artist I see Performance Studies as the right space to engage in critical enquiries that arise in my art practice and everyday life. The liberatory and radical approach of the discipline provides opportunity to route, reroute and intersect the ideas in its free space. I chose TISCH for its faculty, the resources and its location.
