I mainly assisted the Center for Puerto Rican Studies in completing detailed item-level inventories for the audiovisual holdings of four collections: the Raquel Z. Rivera Hip Hop / Reggaeton Collection, the Johnny Torres Papers, the Juan Flores Papers, and the Cerro Maravilla Hearings VHS Video Recordings Collection.

I inspected and assessed items in a wide array of formats, including magnetic media (audio cassettes, microcassettes, 1-inch video tapes, 1/2 inch audio tapes, 1/4 inch audio tapes, U-matic, VHS, MiniDV), optical discs (Audio CD, Mini CD, CD-ROM, DVD), vinyl recordings, and 16mm film. Throughout my internship, I assessed 1,036 items.
