About the Program
Course Number: PHTI-NT 1
The Future Imagemakers Workshop is a free high school digital photography program in Tisch Department of Photography & Imaging (DPI). We are passionate about image-making, self-expression, and social justice. We believe in the power of photography to celebrate diversity and intersectionality, and to address racism, gender discrimination and all forms of intolerance. We seek to expand boundaries and learn from each other.
The workshop runs for 14 Saturdays during the spring semester. Since participation may require travel to NYU by 10:00 a.m., students will most likely live in cities and towns within 2 hours of NYU's Washington Square campus. Digital cameras and all supplies are provided. No previous experience necessary except for a passion for making images.
Visit the Future Imagemakers website and follow us on Instagram @futureimagemakers to view past student projects and learn more about us.
