Alice Proujansky (BFA '02, Photography & Imaging) recently contributed a photo essay to Lifetime's Her America project. Created in response to 2016 presidential election and the ensuing Women's March, Her America explores feminity and womanhood through video, audio, photos, and text from contributors in all fifty states.
Alice has described herself as "a working mother photographing mothers working." For the Her America project, Alice followed Sarit Shatken-Stern, a Boston midwife, through the journey of giving birth to her second child.
