Alum Evan Simon (DPI '12) has won an Emmy® Award in Outstanding Video Journalism for his documentary work on New York's Dead Horse Bay, a project that began when he was completing his undergraduate degree.
The News & Documentary Emmy® Awards were presented on Wednesday, September 21st, 2016, at a ceremony at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P Rose Hall in the Time Warner Complex at Columbus Circle in New York City. The event was attended by more than 1,000 television and news media industry executives, news and documentary producers and journalists. Awards were presented in 46 categories.
