Open Arts Acting Studio

Open Arts Acting Studio

Although it's by far our most intensive course, The Open Arts Acting Studio is a great ooportunity for the students who take the plunge each spring semester. As Open Arts professor and studio head Angela Pietropinto says, "Everything you need to learn about life, you can learn through acting."

Through the semester, the students, many of whom are relatively green to the stage, dive into the craft of acting. They study movement, improv, games, voice, and film, with a talented group of instructors, learning about themselves along the way.

On May 2, to celebrate the end of a rewarding semester, and to continute their immersion in theatre, the class attended a showing of the critically-acclaimed The Band's Visit at the Barrymore Theatre.
