Thesis student Jovan James' short film, "The Jump Off", will have its New York City debut at the 21st annual Urbanworld Film Festival.
The Festival will run from Sept. 20-24th, 2017. Urbanworld Film Festival applauds diversity and pushes its filmmakers to redefine and broaden the term "urban."
"The Jump Off" does just that as the lead, a young gay man, in a passionate DL relationship struggles for legitimacy with his closeted lover.
