Containing a wealth of photos, books, video, and audio, the Lesbian Herstory Archives is a community archive, run by volunteers and the home to the largest collection of materials about lesbians in the world. Its Spoken Word collection contains over 3,000 audio cassette tapes and a digitization project has been under way since 2008. At this internship, I was able to digitize, catalogue, re-house, and label various tapes while listening to tapes on Lesbian history, issues, and culture.
