Michael Grant, 92nd Street Y, Spring 2014, NEH
I had a wonderful semester at the 92nd Street Y this spring. Creating metadata for underdescribed dance videos and establishing an authority list of performers, I was able to beef up my metadata skills while improving accessibility to an extraordinary collection of original recordings. Digging into boxes of old tapes makes a really happy time for me, and 92Y is one of the best places I've found to have that experience!
