Caroline Roll, Special Collection of Indigenous Media, NYU Libraries, Fall 2016
My fall internship was spent at Bobst Library working on the new Special Collection of Indigenous Media. I worked mainly on cataloguing and inventory of items in the collection, and I was involved in discussions about contacting filmmakers for permissions for preservation and access. I also completed an assessment of the Apoyo Para el Campesino-Indígena del Oriente Boliviano (APCOB) sub-collection, a newly acquired collection of DVDs from the APCOB organization in Bolivia.
