FUSION's recent LA Showcase

In Celebration of Fusion Film Festival’s Fifteenth Anniversary, Creative Artists Agency hosted Fusion’s first Los Angeles Showcase on Sept 28, 2017 in the stunning 200 seat Kurtzman Theater, offering a sampling of winning films from past Fusion festivals for invited industry guests and L.A. based Fusion Alumni.

Organized by Fusion Faculty Advisor, Prof. Susan Sandler, the event connected Fusion to vital organizations that support women behind the camera, including Women in Film, Re-Frame and WeForShe, as well as tastemakers from across the entertainment industry. Fusion alumna Alee Ruggieri (UGFTV 2017) was Production Manager for the event which included a filmmaker reception sponsored by HBO and HINT water.

Fusion alumna and CAA motion picture lit agent, Darian Lanzetta (UGFTV 2014) offered welcome remarks and introduced filmmakers  Kit Zauhar, Raven Johnson, Sandra Tan, Yanqiu Fei, Chloe Atkas.
