Sam Contis (BFA, 2004) and Paul Mpagi Sepuya (BFA, 2004) are included in a new exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art entitled Being: New Photography 2018.
Arthur Ludlow of the New York Times recently published an advance review of the show, praising Ms. Contis and Mr Sepuya's work.
"Some of Ms. Contis’s photographs are presented as matted, silver gelatin prints. They demonstrate, if there was ever any doubt, that old-fashioned photography in the hands of an artist can feel completely up-to-date."
