New York Times Magazine features cover photo by Alum Jonno Rattman

Monday, Oct 26, 2015

The October 25 cover story of the New York Times Magazine features photographs by Jonno Rattman (BFA 2014). The story by Daniel Engber weaves the complicated story of Anna Stubblefield, a professor of ethics convicted of aggravated sexual assault on a mentally and physically disabled man.

On November 10th, a show of Rattman’s rodeo photographs will open at Episcopal Academy in Philadelphia, organized by Peter Hay Halpert and EA’s Susan Coote. There will be an opening reception and artist talk on Tuesday, November 17 from 12-1:30pm.

Also, the Camera Club of New York is offering one of Rattman’s photographs in their limited edition print series. There are a few remaining — if you are interested please contact Libby Pratt at CCNY. Other prints are also available.

Last month Rattman photographed the crowds in New York during Pope Francis’ visit and his first portfolio of color work of summer readers for the New Yorker.

Earlier this summer, Rattman photographed the Taxi King for Bloomberg Businessweek. Rattman also traveled twice to Baltimore to do stories around the Preakness race and the New Baltimore Hand Dance Association's Annual All White Affair.
