Firsthand Account: The Assassination of Malcolm X by Department of Photography & Imaging Adjunct Professor Bayeté Ross Smith is a 360 interactive video detailing the events of the assassination of Malcolm X by witness A. Peter Bailey.

The video places the viewer within the venue where the event occurred. Not only is the viewer immersed in the space in the present, but they are also transported to the past through seamless combinations of images of the actual occurrence and illustrations detailing the event layered upon the venue as it appears now.
