Department of Photography & Imaging graduate Kearra Amaya Gopee ('17) was recently interviewed by the Trinidad and Tobago Guardian.

In the interview, Kearra discusses the challenges she overcame to complete her degree and her journey as a multimedia artist and imagemaker.

Kearra has been awarded an ACRE Residency this summer in Wisconsin, where she plans to continue building a biographical video game about revolutionary figure Assata Shakur-- a project she began while studying abroad at NYU Havana.
