Paul Lazar in "Cage Shuffle"
Open Arts adjunct professor Paul Lazar is currently touring his solo dance/theater piece "Cage Shuffle", with text is by John Cage and choreography by Tisch faculty member Annie-B Parson! This past August, "Cage Shuffle" was in Berlin at the Tanz Im August Festival. Coming up, Lazar will be performing in Cologne, Germany in October, The Base in Seattle and at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington in November. In December, "Cage Shuffle" will also be performed at the University of Texas at Austin.
Along with "Cage Shuffle", Lazar will be teaching a Text and Movement Master Class at Cornish College in Seattle, Whitman College, and the University of Texas at Austin.
