Alumna Laurie Collyer has been tapped to direct Hope's Wish. The feature is inspired by the true story of Hope Stout, a 12-year-old girl who helps children in her community with illnesses fulfill their wishes after she is diagnosed with a life-threatening disease. Queen Latifah has signed on to act in the film.
