Congratulations to Sandra Gibson, a 2010 graduate of NYU's Moving Image Archiving and Preservation (MIAP) MA Program whose film-based installations with Luis Recoder are featured in "Celluloid," an international group exhibition on view at the EYE Film Museum in Amsterdam from September 17, 2016, through January 8, 2017. The exhibition showcases artists who focus on cinematic equipment and the "the material properties of 16mm and 35mm film."

In their works Light Spill (2005) and Available Light Series (1999-2016), Gibson + Recoder, "convey the magic of the material, making use of 16mm projectors, film strips, and distorted lenses." Read a profile of the exhibition in The New York Time and watch an exhibition trailer below.
