Marie Lascu
Moving Image Archiving and Preservation (MIAP) alumna Marie Lascu, archivist for Crowing Rooster Arts in New York City and co-founder of Activist Archivists (2011–2015), is the 2016 recipient of the Society of American Archivists' Spotlight Award. Established in 2015, the award recognizes the contributions of individuals who work for the good of the profession and archival collections—work that does not typically receive public recognition.
