Jonathan Farbowitz, a 2016 graduate of NYU's Moving Image Archiving and Preservation MA Program in NYU Tisch's Department of Cinema Studies, recently developed his thesis research on malware preservation into a co-authored article with Professor Howard Besser. He discussed the topic further as a guest on All Sides with Ann Fisher, a public radio program airing on NPR station WOSU.

During the show's "Tech Tuesday" segment, Jonathan spoke about the cultural signficance of malware, the value of saving it, strategies for its long-term preservation, and more. The interview has been archived and can be accessed on the program website or as a podcast (see Tech Tuesday: Archiving Viruses..., Released 8/16/2016).
