Genevieve Havemeyer-King, Harvard Film Archive, Summer 2014, IMLS
Working under the supervision of Film Conservator, Liz Coffey, I helped inspect, rehouse, and catalogue 16mm films within the Ed Pincus and Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) Collections. After finishing the TECO project, I worked with Linda Takata, Cataloging Manager for the Harvard Library, to create a detailed finding aid for the collection. In my final weeks, I evaluated and cleaned a number of 16mm film projectors of varying models. An excellent way to spend the summer, my internship at HFA was exactly what I expected it to be - fun, rewarding, and challenging.
