The spring internship at JDC was focused on collection management of videotapes. The biggest task was to redistribute the physical organization and the descriptive information to reflect the institution's workflow, assigning new codes and ID's to facilitate future access and reuse of the content by the organization.
The internship also included inventorying and accessioning/ deaccessioning of newly acquired materials and the prioritization of materials based on content and format characteristics for future digitization.
