Alumnus Ricardo Gamboa ('13) is the writer and co-director of BRUJOS, "a webseries following four gay Latino grad students -that are also witches-as they try and survive the school semester and a witch-hunt led by the straight, wealthy, white male descendants of the first New World colonizers.BRUJOS is comprised of twelve 7-minute episodes that are exploding with magic, mystery and queer freaknasty, and that bring into frame and on-screen bodies and lifestyles marginalized by mainstream media".
Gamboa has launched a crowdfunding campaign that will allow them "to bring accessible, entertaining, and real-ass media that is also smart, socially relevant, and politically and sexually unapologetic".
