What's your Career Success Story?
My film Millie and the Lords was selected as Best Feature Film at the Viva Latino Film Festival. It was my first feature film as the Lead Actress. We also got into the Queens World Film Festival, the Socially Relevant Film Festival and more. We were awarded the Excellence in Film Award from the Rincon International Film Festival in Puerto Rico. So excited!

What aspects of your education, including internships and/or student projects, helped you get this?
Love and dedication to craft. Respect for my Latino roots and heritage. I had put together a showcase of Latino playwrights and scenes called "SABOR Latino" in my second year of undergrad at Strasberg studio. Remembering the work I did on that gave me inspiration to do this project.

What advice would you give to someone who wanted to accomplish this same achievement?
Believe in yourself! Get ready for hard work. But if you love it, it will all come together.
